The customers are important international industrial players who subcontract the manufacturing of important mechanical parts and rely on just in time deliveries and the right quality.
The company invests continuously in state-of-the-art machinery, including welding robots.
For the welding part, the company took the decision to invest in starting up the process to improve and secure the welding processes. The objective is to install ISO 3834 and then to be able to work according to EN 1090 and EN 15085 and possible other standards, depending on new projects or opportunities.
As welding engineer it will be your responsibility to reach the set objectives and to increase the welding-competences in global.
Therefore you will implement and follow up the necessary procedures and train & support the involved people.

You report directly to the SQA-manager and respective plant-manager.
You are responsible for the complete welding processdiscuss with the customer on welding-issues
Discuss internally how new parts could be made
Improve the welding procedures to increase quality
Continuously evaluate that the welding process is being executed in a cost effective way
Train the involved people
Audit the welding-proces
Support and take initiatives in implementing the culture of 5S, lean, QRM & operational excellence
Follow up all relevant KPI’s and take action to improve them
Implement & maintain ISO 3834 / EN 1090 / EN 15085
